Criminal and Civil Litigation: Experience that Matters

As an inaugural member of the Pro Bono Scholars Program, Dominic Pompo was able to take and pass the New York State Bar Examination before he graduated from the University of Buffalo Law School in the Spring of 2015. He was admitted to the practice of law in June of 2015 and immediately began working for a personal injury law firm where he litigated personal injury cases, assisting injured clients to obtain the maximum possible settlements from various insurance companies.

From there, he worked as an in-house attorney for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for the next five years. There, he assisted senior trial attorneys in the litigation of complex, high-value personal injury cases, and later went on to become a litigation attorney responsible for handling electronic and paper discovery, countless depositions, and seeing cases through to their conclusions, including trial when necessary.
