Client Privacy Policy / Texting Policy
Effective Date: July 15, 2026
At Pompo Law, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy and Texting Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information, as well as the terms governing text message communications between our office and our clients.
1. Attorney-Client Privilege & Confidentiality
We take the confidentiality of your information very seriously.
Established Clients: If you are an active client of Pompo Law, your communications with this office are protected by the Attorney-Client Privilege and professional rules of confidentiality to the fullest extent of the law.
Prospective Clients: Please note that contacting us through our website, email, or text message does not automatically establish an attorney-client relationship. Until a formal written retainer agreement is signed by both parties, your communications may not be protected by attorney-client privilege, though we still treat all inquiries with the utmost discretion.
2. SMS & Text Messaging Policy
By becoming a client of Pompo Law and providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive text messages from our office. Please review the details of our texting program below:
Origin of Messages: All text messages will be sent directly from Pompo Law or on behalf of our office. We do not use third-party marketing services to send you promotional texts.
Purpose of Messages: We will send you text messages from time to time to communicate important updates about your case, request necessary information, coordinate schedules, and/or send appointment and court date reminders.
Frequency: Text message frequency will vary based on the necessity of your case and current legal proceedings.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Pompo Law is not responsible for any charges you may incur from your carrier.
How to
Opt-Out: Your consent to receive text messages is entirely voluntary, and you can opt out at any time. To stop receiving text messages from our office, simply reply “STOP” to any text message we send you. After you send “STOP”, you will receive one final text confirming your unsubscribed status, and we will cease texting you.
How to Get Help: If you need assistance or have questions about our text messaging program, reply “HELP” to any text message, or contact our office directly via email or phone.
Information Sharing and Consent
We respect your privacy and do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information.
Important SMS Privacy Note: No mobile information or phone numbers will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.
Updates to This Policy: We may update this Privacy and Texting Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal regulations. The updated policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.”
